Re-opening Announcement
Dear Devotees, 

The board of trustees of Kasi Temple of Flint, Michigan take this opportunity to thank you all for your support during this extraordinary pandemic. We move forward as per the CDC (Center for Disease Control) guidelines and State of Michigan orders to reopen our temple as well as kitchen for devotees in a safe manner. We would like to remind you that this is a new beginning and we should follow all the necessary precautions.

  • Please wear a mask and maintain social distance guidelines.

  • Please do not bring outside food and prasad.

  • Please respect other devotees and maintain silence as a common practice.

Also known as Sankashti Chaturthi, is an auspicious festival for Hindus, celebrated in honor of Lord Ganesha. The word ‘Sankashti’ has a Sanskrit origin and it implies ‘deliverance during difficult times. On this propitious day devotees worship Lord Ganesha to help the overcome all the obstacles in life and come out victorious in every tough situation. ​
